Drop Factory designs the merch and screens every design for protected logos, characters and real people before it can publish. Printify is the print-on-demand partner that produces and ships each order. Your storefront — a free Pop-Up store, or Shopify, Etsy, eBay, TikTok Shop or Walmart on Pro — is where customers actually buy. You connect them once below — after that, hitting PUBLISH in the app pushes a real, buyable product to your store.
Sign up free at printify.com. Inside Printify, add a store under My Stores → Add new store. Have a Shopify, Etsy, eBay, TikTok Shop or Walmart storefront? Connect it here (Printify → My Stores → Add new store) — publishing to any of them unlocks on Pro. Don't have one yet? Pick Printify's free Pop-Up Store — you can launch without your own site. Want your own Shopify store instead? Start a Shopify store here, then connect it inside Printify. Pro customers can also have us create the store and hand you the keys; you pick your Shopify plan from there — email Rich. A full store build (theme, shipping, collections) is a separate service.
Before a Pop-Up store can pay you, Printify needs your identity verified through Stripe (in your Pop-Up store's payout settings) — do it now, not after your first sale. Pop-Up earnings for a month are paid on the 15th of the following month; your very first payout can take six to seven weeks. On Shopify, Etsy, TikTok Shop and the other channels it works the other way round: Printify charges your card for printing and shipping as each order comes in, and your store pays you on its own schedule — keep enough on the card to fund a busy week.
In Printify, open My Profile → Connections → API, then Generate a personal access token. Give it a name (e.g. "Drop Factory"), and copy it immediately — Printify only shows the full token once. Printify tokens expire after one year; when yours does, generate a new one and reconnect.
In the app's top bar, click 🔌 CONNECT, drop your token into the Printify field, and hit TEST & CONNECT. If your account has more than one shop, pick the one you want to publish to.
Design something, open the PUBLISH tab, pick a product, and push it live. Drop Factory creates the product in your Printify shop and lists it on your connected storefront — priced, sized, and ready to sell.
You're covered — no separate integration needed. Connect that storefront inside Printify (Step 1), and Drop Factory publishes to Printify while Printify syncs the product across to your store. One token, every storefront Printify supports. The free Pop-Up store works on any plan; publishing to the others is on Pro.
Start with Printify's free Pop-Up Store — a ready-made shop with zero setup and no monthly fee. You can move to your own Shopify or Etsy store later — add it in Printify, hit ↻ REFRESH SHOPS in Drop Factory, and tick the new channel.
"Invalid token" — you probably copied a partial Printify token, or it was regenerated. Generate a fresh one and paste the whole string.
